I had a truly wonderful stay at Rommai Villa Chiang Rai. The family that operates the villa was incredibly sweet and helpful throughout my visit. The breakfast options were delicious, and I loved trying the different Thai dishes every morning. The location of the villa just outside of the university was perfect for exploring Chiang Rai. I used the bikes provided by the villa to ride to the nearby park and enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants for dinner. The overall beauty and calmness of the property made my stay truly magical.

Although the house wasn't as idyllically located as I expected, with some medium-sized flats bordering the property, the garden and the house itself were incredibly beautiful. Additionally, the bedroom in my room was a bit small, but the spacious washroom and small balcony made up for it.

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and arranged transportation for me. The location was great, with beautiful gardens and water features. The breakfast was delicious, with American and Thai options, and the hotel facilities were very clean and well maintained.

This hotel is not very remote as advertised, as medium-sized flats border the property. the garden and house are stunning. the staff is extremely helpful and arranged transport for us. the food was great and the hotel is close to the airport.

The hotel is a bit far from the city and may cause issues with transportation.

Delicious breakfast with a stunning view of the lake. Peaceful ambiance surrounded by beautiful gardens and water features. Convenient location close to university and local restaurants.

Some rooms are overpriced and poorly maintained. It’s not as rural as the photos imply, with nearby flats sometimes detracting from the idyllic atmosphere.

We had a nice view of a lake from our room, and the breakfast spread was delicious. the surrounding greenery was refreshing and provided a lovely escape from the city life. Being away from the hustle and bustle of the city also made the environment very peaceful.

The room we stayed in was quite small and cramped, making it difficult to relax and enjoy our time there.
